What We Do
Anesi® gas absorption heat pumps (GAHP) are air-to-water heating solutions that significantly reduce carbon emissions by using less gas to achieve the same heating output as conventional gas furnaces and boilers. They utilize natural gas, propane, or renewable natural gas blends and can operate at up to 140% efficiency, cutting fuel use by up to 50%. Less fuel means lower emissions and operating costs without sacrificing comfort or safety. All combustion, refrigerant, and venting processes occur outside the building, eliminating hazards like carbon monoxide poisoning. Only food-grade propylene glycol and water mixture circulate inside the building through standard copper or PEX tubing. The refrigerant (R717) is 100% natural, with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), zero global warming potential (GWP), and no PFAS. GAHPs can provide heat even in temperatures as low as -40°F/C without backup heating systems. The GAHP uses very little electricity, fits existing 120V/15A circuits, and can operate on a portable 3,000-watt generator in areas prone to commercial power outages. Since the Anesi heat pump is installed outdoors, there is no need to modify the indoor flue vent, eliminating associated costs and heat loss.

Stone Mountain Technologies designs and manufactures the Anesi innovative heat pump technology for residential and commercial use and remains dedicated to providing customers with high-comfort, cost-effective, and low-carbon heating solutions.
