This course discusses branding and engagement through social media, how/what to properly message, and the general importance of "content." We will will demystify the changing landscape of social media, understanding demographics, platforms, content programs, and everything in between. Learn how to make social media work for you.

This course reviews the strategic competitive advantage of renewable liquid fuels and energy efficiency as a proven renewable and sustainable pathway to decarbonization. It compares various methods and costs per home to achieve net zero carbon with alternatives including deep energy retrofits, electric heat pumps combined with solar photovoltaics, offshore wind, battery backup, hybrid liquid fuel heating systems, and more. It also reviews the long term impact of increasing Bioheat blend levels and “the benefit of acting sooner” as a complementary strategy to electrification alone.

This presentation focuses on key topics for technicians working in the liquid fuel market, emphasizing tools, techniques, and innovations that enhance service efficiency and adaptability. It covers the Tigerloop deaerator's features, the functionality of the myTechnician app, guidance for upgrading appliances to handle bio and renewable fuel blends (up to B100/R100), the importance of quality filtration and preventive maintenance with spin-on filters, and the benefits of the RF burner-in-a-box solution for retrofit applications.

This session will address CO Safety & Combustion Analysis for residential, commercial and industrial applications. The agenda will include: • What is combustion? • Why perform combustion test & why use analyzers? • Why do we need to measure? • How contractors can make money ($$) using an analyzer • Atmospheric vs. High Efficiency condensing boilers / furnaces! • How to use an analyzer

This training class will walk you through what to look at when you are providing a customer with preventive maintenance on a high-efficiency gas fired condensing boiler. It will also cover things to look at when performing a troubleshooting call.

NORA in conjunction with Chevron REG are in the midst of a 150-participant field study in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, where blends of Renewable Diesel and Biodiesel are being distributed throughout 2025. This is one of the largest field studies that the NORA team have initiated and the goals are to see how 100% renewable fuels stand up over an entire year. We have some very exciting observations and technical data to share with our audience.

Owners of heating oil and service companies who have successfully expanded their operations to include Propane delivery, Swimming Pool Service Pest Control, Lawn Care, and Home Security will participate in an informative panel discussion. They will provide practical advice on how to get started, including tips on overcoming common obstacles and identifying resources for those considering a similar expansion. This discussion is designed to help owners explore the potential of adding different services to their business and how to navigate the process with confidence.

When tanker rollover accidents happen, lives are often changed forever. Loss of stability, load shift, and driver error are regular contributors to rollovers, making frequent safety reminders to company drivers important. This discussion will focus on the principles of S.A.F.E. driving and include support resources to help increase driver awareness of this problem. Be prepared to decide how to implement best practices for your drivers to help ensure they arrive at their destination safely each day.

Heat pumps have been growing dramatically and that is expected to continue but what about houses heated with hot water? Air to water heat pumps fill that role. This course will give an introduction to A2W heat pumps, how they work and their applications.

The evolving energy landscape: We'll delve into the uncertainties surrounding the new administration's policies on renewables. The rise of AI and its impact on energy: Explore how advancements in Artificial Intelligence are transforming the energy landscape. Join us as we discuss the risks and opportunities presented by new uncertainties. The Force is strong in this one. Equip yourself with the knowledge and strategies to navigate what could be a turbulent energy market ahead.

A discussion of low temperature venting of oil-fired equipment with polypropylene. We will review the challenges facing our industry with regards to venting and explain how dilution air venting will help us overcome commonplace chimney issues. This will allow oil-fired equipment to better compete with high-efficiency gas-fired equipment. Energy Kinetics has long term proven performance with dilution air since 2011, and with polypropylene since 2014, achieving over 90% efficiency in a non-condensing oil-fired boiler.

In this training session, we are going to discuss low voltage and line voltage applications, troubleshooting, and installations for your hydronic systems. We will also review which way to zone your system is the best way, zone valves vs zone pumps and put the debate to rest once and for all. Last but definitely not least, you are going to see ways that you can make your gas and oil hydronic systems even more efficient than they already are without installing anything new. This combustion analysis course will cover what combustion is, why it is important, how to test, where to test and why to test. It will address why combustion is crucial as move forward to "greener times" as well as how to use a combustion analyzer for commissioning, diagnostics and maintenance.

This course is designed to provide the options available for gas line installations. We will discuss the different materials and connections associated with each method. Most common materials are steel pipe, polyethylene, copper tubing and CSST. The reasons for choosing certain materials will also be highlighted. Codes and line sizing are a major factor in gas line installations and may determine which material you will use.

This class will cover the basics of water quality for a hydronic heating system to maintain the peak efficiency and proper operation of your heating system.

Legislation enacted in 2020 authorized the EPA to phase down the production and use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and required HVAC manufacturers to transition to the next level of low-GWP (global warming potential) refrigerants for all new residential and commercial ducted HVAC systems manufactured as of Jan 1, 2025, and installed within a limited time frame. What does this mean to you as a contractor or building owner? This session will discuss the transition to A2L refrigerants.

This course will help you understand the different control options for controlling Dual Fuel Systems; wiring options for dual fuel hybrid Systems; proper control programming and check out procedures.
